Will this work on my car's bumper? Yes. It works on all common automotive plastics including PP, ABS, PE, PVC and HDPE. If your car was made in the last 20 years, this will work on it.

How long does the repair take? Most bumper cracks take 45 minutes to an hour from start to finish, including prep and cleanup. The welding itself takes under 10 minutes.

Is the repair permanent? Yes. The metal staple is fused directly into the plastic, creating a bond that's stronger than the original material. It won't re-crack at the same point.

Can I paint over it? Absolutely. Once the weld cools, sand flush, apply primer, and paint as normal. The repair accepts auto paint perfectly and won't show through a proper coat.

Do I need any experience? No. Most first-timers get clean results on their second or third staple. The technique takes about 5 minutes to figure out — we recommend practicing on a scrap piece of plastic first.
